Care plans • Hosting • Ongoing support
Once your site, app or automations are live, your stack still needs a little care. South Coast Apps offers light-touch, month-to-month plans for the systems we've built together: modern UK/EU hosting, updates, monitoring and a sensible amount of content changes.
Care plans are our way of quietly looking after the websites, web apps and workflows we've built for you. Rather than one-off fixes, you get a small, predictable monthly budget for hosting, monitoring, updates and light content changes – with clear guardrails on what's included.
Plans are deliberately simple: month-to-month, 30 days' notice, and tailored to the size and complexity of your stack. Smaller brochure sites often sit on a £15/month Essential plan, while more involved builds with integrations and automations usually suit the £25 or £45 tiers.
Exact details vary by plan, but all care clients can expect modern infrastructure, sensible security basics, and a calm way to request tweaks without spinning up a new project each time.
Hosting and care are usually agreed alongside your build, so we can match the plan to your stack. The ranges below align with the example hosting levels shown on the homepage pricing section.
Ideal for small brochure sites with simple contact forms.
Commonly used with Starter websites. Bigger changes or new features are quoted separately.
For growing brochure or service sites with light ongoing changes.
Commonly used with Business websites. A good fit if you run seasonal offers or update content regularly.
For Pro builds, integrations and automations that need more hands-on care.
A good fit where your site is a key sales channel or where automations materially reduce admin.
Prices exclude VAT (if applicable). Exact scope, minutes and response times are agreed in your proposal or support plan. Larger changes, redesigns, new integrations or extra environments are always scoped and priced as separate project work.
Care is designed to slot neatly onto the back of a project, not turn into an open-ended, fuzzy retainer. The steps are simple:
Step 1
Go-live & 30-day fixes
Every build includes a short snagging window for fixing launch issues.
Step 2
Pick a care level
We look at how critical the system is and agree the right care tier.
Step 3
Send changes as you go
Email or Loom your requests. We batch sensible tweaks into small, low-friction releases.
Step 4
Review & adjust
As your needs change, we can scale your plan up, down, or switch to a project for bigger changes.
No. Every project includes a short period of launch fixes. After that you can either move into a care plan, ask for ad-hoc quotes when you need changes, or host the site elsewhere. Care plans simply make the small-but-regular jobs easier to manage.
Sometimes. For inherited sites we normally run a short technical audit first to understand the stack, risks and effort. Depending on what we find, we may recommend a rebuild instead of a care plan, or offer a different rate that reflects the extra complexity.
The minutes are a guide for how much small change work we can reliably do each month without over-promising. We'll group requests into sensible batches and let you know if something is better handled as a separate piece of project work. For fairness, unused time doesn't usually roll over indefinitely, but we can be flexible within reason.
Major redesigns, new brands, large new sections, new integrations, complex automations, data migrations and third-party licence costs are always scoped separately. We also don't offer 24/7 emergency support – care plans focus on business-hours, best-efforts support for small teams.
Yes. Care and hosting plans are generally rolling monthly with at least 30 days' notice to pause or cancel, as set out in the Terms & Conditions. We'll help with a tidy handover if you're moving to another provider.
If we're consistently bumping into the limits of your plan, we'll either propose a higher tier or suggest a short, focused project to catch everything up. You're never locked into a long, opaque retainer.
This page is a plain-English overview of how care plans, hosting and ongoing support work in practice. The formal position – including our responsibilities, your responsibilities, liability, suspension, and cancellation rules – is set out in the Terms & Conditions , particularly section 7 ("Hosting, Maintenance & Support").
If anything on this page appears to conflict with the Terms, the Terms win. If you're unsure how a care plan would apply to your specific stack, just ask and we'll walk through it before you commit.
If we've already launched something for you, we can usually map it to one of the care tiers above in a short call or Loom exchange.
